A prestigious assignment for the Miller Brewing Co. was designing futuristic packaging and beer bottles for use in the major motion picture, “Back to the Future II,” sequel to the box office smash, “Back to the Future.” Creating the beer bottle of the future was an exciting challenge. The design featured an easy-grip, stylized shape. A micro switch and light were added inside the base of the bottle so that upon lifting, the bottle would glow.
